Here’s a fun shot from the Dar Tifl orphanage that TechWomen visited on Monday, October 17 in Marrakech, Morocco.
Pictured are two boys from the House of Hope (age 6) with TechWomen Mentee Leila Mekhnache (Algeria), one of the volunteers from the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Morocco (AFEM) who supports the orphanage, and Jody Mahoney from the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology, one of ECA’s partners managing TechWomen.

We love what you all do and are very inspired by your work! We started a social venture called Life Out of the Box, where we give school supplies to children around the world. We started in Central America, but we have just moved to Marrakech, Morocco to expand our giving here and would love to connect with this orphanage that you worked with, Dar Tifl, to see if we can help in any way possible. Do you know the website of the orphanage or email address that we can use to contact them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!
