The 2015 TechWomen program has wrapped up, and we’re excited for what’s to come this fall and winter. In addition to sharing impact stories, guest posts and more, the TechWomen team is preparing for the next phase of the program cycle. Here’s what to look forward to in the coming months.
November: The 2016 TechWomen application launches on November 30! The application will be open through February 1, 2016. In the next few weeks, we’ll ramp up outreach with support from our network of fellows, embassies and mentors. Stay tuned to our website for more updates about programming, selections and important dates. In the meantime, spread the word about the application to your networks! December: Bringing the program full circle, delegation trips to a country in each of our program regions are planned for 2016. We’ll focus on preparations for each trip, scheduling meetings and visits with local organizations and universities, and begin planning reunions with fellows, mentors and more. We’re especially looking forward to our Central Asia trip, as it’ll be our first delegation to the region! Want to learn more about delegation trips? Read about our visits to South Africa and Tunisia earlier this year.
January, February, March 2016: Delegation trip season begins! Follow TechWomen on Twitter and Instagram to “join us” as we explore our fellows’ home countries. We’ll also begin selection for the 2016 cohort of Emerging Leaders during this time.
In the meantime, we’re counting down the days until the 2016 application launches. Interested in applying or know someone who is? Join our mailing list to be notified on November 30.
