Day 4: Delegation hosts talks and workshops for 640 university students

One of the main objectives of TechWomen’s delegation trips is to encourage and inspire girls and women to pursue careers in STEM. On Wednesday, March 1, the delegation visited four universities – American University in Central Asia, Kyrgyz‐Turkish Manas University, Kyrgyz Economic University and Kyrgyz National University. At each university, mentors and fellows hosted three sessions for more than 640 students on Silicon Valley’s tech hub and new trends in the IT industry, building a resume and interview skills, and social media marketing and professional networking.
