We’re excited to announce the 10 TechWomen fellows who will be attending the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) thanks to the sponsorship of the Anita Borg Institute (ABI). ABI has provided TechWomen a $35,000 award to make this opportunity possible for our community. A selection committee comprised of TechWomen mentors and a partner from ABI spent a full day reviewing each applicant, and they were thoroughly impressed by the accomplishments of our fellows. Meet the 10 TechWomen fellows who will be attending GHC:
- Nassima Berrayah, 2013, Algeria
- Zimkhita Buwa, 2013, South Africa
- Houda Chakiri, 2012, Morocco
- Alaa Fatayer, 2014, Palestinian Territories
- Dorothee Danedjo Fouba, 2014, Cameroon
- Amel Ghouila, 2014, Tunisia
- Rumbidzayi Rosemary Mlambo, 2013, Zimbabwe
- Marie Claire Murekatete, 2014, Rwanda
- Josephine Kamanthe Ndambuki, 2013, Kenya

For 13 years, GHC has brought together the largest community of women technologists. Fellows will partake in networking opportunities, informative sessions and have the chance to reconnect with fellow alumnae and mentors.
We look forward to GHC this October in Houston, and hope to share more about the 10 TechWomen fellows and their work. Follow @anitaborg_org and @ghc to learn more about the conference.
