“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – U.S. Author, Mark Twain
Calling women around the world!
Calling leaders in technology!
Calling entrepreneurs!
Calling dreamers and adventurers!
We are currently seeking candidates for the next cohort of TechWomen Emerging Leaders from across the Middle East and Africa. We invite you to apply for the fall 2013 program. The application deadline is less than a month away.
TechWomen is not your average mentoring program. This is a hands-on, transformative experience that aims to build the power of the next generation of women leaders in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to deeply impact their field and the world.
TechWomen alumnae are indeed changing the world – past participants have returned home to launch and grow businesses, create nonprofit organizations, develop mentoring initiatives, and share their experiences in the international news. TechWomen are turning their dreams into reality.
In 2013, we’re expanding the program and recruiting from sixteen countries in the Middle East and Africa. Our alumnae are actively spreading the word about the program to their friends and networks in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, the Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, and Yemen. We’ve also been using social media and other outlets to reach women in the new program countries – Cameroon, Kenya, Libya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
In the last two years, we have seen magic happen when women from different countries, cultures and backgrounds connect and gather together through the TechWomen program. This year, with more countries and more participants, we can only imagine the endless possibilities for collaboration, creativity and inspiration.
We invite you to review our eligibility requirements and apply online by February 22nd. Please spread the word to other dreamers and doers in the Middle East and Africa. The TechWomen community is waiting for you!
