What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?
I've built a sustainable team of Women Techmakers Ambassadors and we are proud to bring diversity to the IT community in the capital city of Tashkent, and I am now concentrating on expanding to other cities. I'm leading a project on supporting female founded startups and would be happy to share my knowledge in this area. I have a broad network in Fintech and IT industries in Central Asia and can give insights on how business is developed and operated.
The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship
- Gain a deeper understanding of how to go from 0 to 1: scalable startup development and growth
- Building and managing high-performing team
- Gain hands-on experience with AI product development.
Mentorship Characteristic
- Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
- Focus on leadership skills building
- Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
- Have exposure to specialized industry techniques
- Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.
Ideal Company Type
My ideal mentor match would be someone whose values are transparency and empathy, who has experience in product-building and team-building. I'm curious to learn from innovative companies and industry-changers.
What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?
- Reliable
- Curious
- Go-getter
What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
As I've seen from many Techwomen alumnae, they gain a better understanding of where they want to go and how they want to get there. The experience has boosted their motivation to the sky! I hope to gain the determination to access to opportunities I might not be able to see or have not explored out of fear.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
The post-program impact is what I am looking forward to the most. I'm good at organizing projects/events, finding funds for a good cause and gathering like-minded people to collaborate. I'm already on track to bring more girls into IT (I just partnered with USAID to scale our Google's Women Techmakers initiative across Uzbekistan after 2 years of building the project in Tashkent) and itching to spread my future knowledge of Techwomen across Uzbekistan and develop meaningful projects derived from my Techwomen experience.
