What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?
I possess a combination of academic knowledge, professional experience, and passion for social and environmental issues. As part of this mentorship program, I would come with my experience and knowledge on energy transition projects in Africa, especially the Nigerian landscape, as well execution insights. I will be happy to share my skill on business communications, as it has to do with crafting compelling pitch decks and pitching to win, as well as my project management skills. I believe that my mentor and their colleagues are able to learn from my team playing fortitude and leadership journey.

Ideal Company Type
My ideal mentor would be a senior executive or experienced professional in a mid to large-sized cleantech company focused on renewable energy and/or circular economy projects. This company should be recognized for its innovation, sustainability initiatives and robust market presence. Ideally, the company would have a collaborative and inclusive culture, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning and development. My mentor should possess a deep knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks and leadership in the renewable energy sector, providing valuable insights into strategic decision-making and effective team management. This background would ensure a comprehensive mentorship experience aligned with my goals.
What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?
- Focused
- Dependable
- Growth-minded
What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
In the field of green technology, my aspirations extend beyond the borders of Nigeria. I envision Celloop as a catalyst for sustainable change throughout Africa, contributing to the continent's technological advancement while minimizing its ecological footprint and establishing a robust circular economy model for e-waste management. To achieve this, connecting with a U.S.-based mentor would be instrumental in providing me with the guidance, support and networks necessary for navigating the intricacies of the green technology sector from an advanced point-of-view. It will be an avenue to be exposed to best practices, innovative solutions and emerging trends within the renewable energy industry.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
Participating in the TechWomen program will be a transformative experience that I intend to leverage strategically to make a lasting impact on my home country and community. I will utilize my experience and the TechWomen network to explore potential collaborations, partnerships and funding opportunities for expanding Celloop's operations beyond Nigeria, as well as replicating successful models in other African countries facing similar e-waste challenges. I also plan to develop and implement outreach programs to raise awareness about e-waste management, circular economy principles and the importance of sustainable practices in technology to involve organizing community events, webinars and educational campaigns.
