Currently, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with experience in geotechnical, water and civil works. I would like to use this opportunity to also improve my networking, public speaking and writing skills.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
Currently I am working in the Presidential Infrastructure Delivery Unit where we implement major government infrastructure projects and engage ministries, department agencies or parastatal organizations. Creating access to safe drinking water and improving sanitation and hygiene at a national level is part of our mandate. With my knowledge and exposure from the TechWomen program, I will collaborate with our partners with the use of improved techniques in providing access to safe drinking water and improving sanitation and hygiene. I will push for regular engagement of the public on proper sanitation and hygiene and support in the enactment of more stringent laws and penalties on proper sanitation.
