What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
The opportunity to collaborate with a mentor based in U.S. as part of the TechWomen program would be truly transformative for my professional development. As a field coordinator with an American INGO , I am deeply inspired by the prospect of learning from the wisdom and experiences of an accomplished industry leader. I envision gaining access to invaluable knowledge, industry connections, and tailored guidance. These resources will be instrumental in navigating my path forward. Moreover, the cross-cultural exchange would empower me to strengthen my intercultural communication skills and broaden my understanding of the tech ecosystem beyond my local context.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
Completing the TechWomen program will equip me with the knowledge, skills and connections to drive meaningful impact in my home country. I plan to pay forward the guidance and support I have received by mentoring aspiring technologists, empowering the next generation to reach new heights. Drawing on my enhanced cross-cultural understanding and problem-solving abilities, I will spearhead the development of innovative technological solutions aiming to start up an NGO that deliver services to the blind girls in my community and develop their skills to gain more opportunities in the workforce hence improving their quality of life.
