2013 TechWomen Emerging Leaders
Congratulations to the next class of TechWomen Emerging Leaders! Earlier this week, we notified 78 candidates from 16 countries across the Middle East and Africa about their selection to the 2014 TechWomen program. Participants have already expressed their excitement, including an Emerging Leader in South Africa who sent us the following note:
“Thank you very much. I am thrilled and humbled at the same time. To be a TechWomen Emerging Leader is the biggest achievement in my career and personal development, and more importantly in my country where the STEM field hasn’t developed much. I truly look forward to learn, be mentored, engage with you, your team, my peers, and to see tech innovation. I am inspired to make a difference to women and girls in the STEM field in my country.”
With the program fewer than six months away, we’re eager to engage more deeply with each Emerging Leader. Each candidate brings with them diverse professional and cultural experiences, and we look forward to strengthening the global network of women leaders in technology further through mentorship and exchange.
