TechWomen celebrates ten year of impact and innovation at TechWomen@10 on October 20, 2022. During this event, Secretary of State Antony Blinken laid the framework for the decade to come. TechWomen will be expanding in several ways over the next decade to expand the footprint of the program to new regions, connect deeper with the TechGirls program and connect our mentors and fellows in new ways.

TechGirls is an international exchange program designed to empower young girls to pursue careers in the science and technology sectors. In July 2011, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced the launch of TechGirls – a three-week, intensive youth exchange “to encourage innovation and promote the spread of new technologies to give women and girls the support that they need to become leaders in this field.” TechGirls is a U.S. Department of State initiative.
