Racha participated in the Arab Mobile App Challenge for 2014 as a finalist for her app Super Mama. Racha created the mobile application Super Mama, which provides tools, videos, and resources for new mothers on the go. As product marketer, Racha credits the Leadership workshop she experienced with TechWomen as a major influence of the evolution of SuperMama. This workshop helped her understand the importance of leadership within innovation, and she is excited to continue improving the application.

“Libyan corporate culture, get ready! A passionate TechWomen alumna is on the way to transform perspectives on psychology and business,” shared fellow Noran Buzgaia (Libya, 2023), who recently started a master’s degree in organizational leadership at Guglielmo Marconi University in Italy.

With a 10-year career blending psychology, humanitarian work, financial technology and business administration, Noran is on a mission to bring a more human-centric approach to organizational psychology in Libya.

“My experience in tech corporate,” she explained, “revealed how psychology, people management, and leadership intersect beautifully in business… influencing employee happiness, satisfaction, and organizational success.”

Fellow named a TED Fellow 2024 for health tech work

Fellow Norah Magero (Kenya, 2022), co-founder and CEO of Drop Access Limited, has been selected as a TED Fellow 2024.
Drop Access developed VacciBox, a cold chain solution for delivering heat-sensitive medications to rural communities.
The Ted Fellows Program recognizes professionals who have identified solutions to world changing ideas. They described Norah’s contribution as “connecting the dots between technology, medicine and energy to revolutionize vaccine deliveries in rural Africa” in their selection announcement.
Through the Ted Fellows Program, Norah will have access to tools and training, present her ideas and contributions through TED Talks, and be connected to the TED community.
